Job Summary

This Energy Design Engineer role will be involved in a wide range of assignments covering all aspects of industrial and commercial utility plant redevelopment, energy savings, energy usage and CO2 emission reduction.  The Engineer will formulate, evaluate and prepare technical analysis and specification of industrial and commercial schemes during feasibility studies, scheme design and project implementation.


  • Identify Energy Conservation opportunities at potential customer sites
  • Conduct energy audits and site surveys
  • Develop technical write up for bid submissions
  • Technical feasibility studies to assess existing systems
  • Scheme Design at feasibility stage
  • Detailed Design and Commissioning


  • Engineering degree preferably in chemical, mechanical or electrical
  • Achieved or working towards chartered engineer status
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience of energy related or field engineer work
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project scheduling tools
  • Enthusiastic, confident and have a flexible approach to work
  • Customer focussed attitude and passionate about energy efficiency and renewable energy. Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and complete within deadlines
  • A willingness to travel across UK and Europe
